How wonderful! I can’t wait until there are several options for a 4 wheel small SUV.
I can’t wait for super-fast charging to be a reality! And the 250-mile all-electric range is an exciting prospect.
I would like to know whether the inductive charging is something that could be installed in my garage! Would be super!
We have an EV and we love it. We hope to see more EV in Madison in the future.
All electric vehicles are almost to the tipping point where they will become a mainstream product. The rapid charging systems described at the auto show require 240 volt service in your garage.Electric utilities partnering with electrical contractors must make it easy and affordable to put the 240 volt rapid charging outlets in every garage.
I just love where technology is going, hopefully there are incentives (both to the producers and purchasers) to keep things going in a green direction.
We’ve owned hybrid cars in the past and will looks at an all electric vehicle the next time we are in the market for a car.
I want our next car to be an electric car. It’s the future! More exciting than a flying car … well certainly more likely to happen.
It is a just a matter of time..I hope Earth can wait.
I’d love a small AWD SUV as my daily driver. Our current one gets 18MPG (if we’re lucky) and it’s a 2013! Our household could easily function with one all electric and one hybrid. Won’t be too much longer.
I love that electric cars are finally offering a serious alternative to the smelly, messy gas engine that only promises to continue to mess up our environment. I look forward to quiet efficient mobility via an engine that can be powered by a renewable fuel source.
Waiting for the Bolt to get to Madison!
How do I get a charging station in my condo parking space
Thanks for keeping us up to date on industry trends.
Eyeing up the chevy volt as my next car, can’t wait!
Very exciting. I liked knowing about the various charging options coming, especially the receiving plate under the car. One day, I will also say, “It is time for me.”
I love that EVs are becoming more mainstream!
We love our Prius, but the all electric car may be something we look at down the road.
I have been interested in EV autos for several years. I find the technology vastly improving. I am able to see in my near future one of these vehicles. Most of my driving is less than 300 miles per day and with recharging becoming readily available and charging time less restrictive, I find owning this type of vehicle desirable. I can only hope that our current legislative body does nothing to ruin our future in EV autos. Reducing our carbon foot prints for the future is important to me.
Wow, I didn’t know that electric vehicles had come so far! It’s nice to see such a variety of styles and charging options.
It’s so exciting to see multiple car manufacturers coming into the EV realm to compete, not only for their own sake but for consumers as well. The inductive charging design is very cool! I can definitely see this concept in a lot of garages and on the street in the future.
Auto industry by-passes Washington and the fossil fuel industry. How refreshing! ” If you build it they will come”.
Those electric vehicles look great and have a reasonable range for people.
I’ve owned some pretty nice cars in the past, including a renovated Triumph Spitfire and two Camaros, but my 2015 Volt is by far the nicest car I’ve ever owned. I haven’t visited a gas station in 6 months and it is really smooth, quiet ride, with all of the creature comforts.
Glad to see the opportunities that green energy is developing for the auto and utility industries.10 years ago, the options were very limited but a decade later, we have viable options for the average consumer. Excited to see where we head in the next decade!
I’m looking forward to seeing the Tesla 3 fly around Madtown. Glad these car companies are giving Tesla a run for their money. Will make the world better for all of us!
I have a hybrid vehicle now. I hope that my next vehicle is fully electric.
