When a car crashed through the front door, local coffee shop Mother Fool’s thought it might have to close for good. See how a neighborhood rallied around this green business and gave it new life.

Such a great story and so proud to be a part of this great community. Well done Madison and MGE!
What a lovely featurette! Highlights some of the best attributes of Madison.
Very inspiring to see that so many others share the values of the owners and came to their aid.
That is really touching how our community helped them rebuild and stay in a business that is beneficial to our environment.
I loved this video! It is so very inspiring seeing how Mother Fool’s coffee shop was here for the community and provided exactly what they were looking for, and then after the accident happened, the community did just that for the coffee shop. I will definitely stop by sometime for a nice hot cup of organic coffee! Nice job guys, keep up the amazing work!
Proud to be part of this neighborhood!
Fabulous story for starting off the new year. Thank you, Madison. You make my heart swell with pride.
Pretty awesome to see a community gather around and support small business. I love coffee and going green and sustainable is a real push for the future.
Vegan is on the upswing and good to see.
It does take a village impressive !!!
What a heartwarming story. Such deserving people who were showered with care in their time of need.
A very heartwarming story about a neighborhood known for its values and how they stepped up in a time of need to help a community institution.. I had not been aware of how thoroughly Mother Fools practices sustainable and environmentally friendly values. I have not been there yet, but plan to go soon and savor the ambiance!
Great inspiring story! Keep it up Madison, StoryBridge & MG&E!
nice story
nice story , great coffee
Was devastated when this happened, but incredibly relieved when they were able to bounce back
It is always reassuring to know that there are business owners who understand that being environmentally responsible is not a negative. People will support a business that is ethically rooted — lots of places sell coffee and bakery. People are supporting the business ideal and not the business commodity.
Great story in so many ways – thank you for sharing ( and the update)
We are all in this together as neighbors! Neighbors should know each other and work together as good citizens. We do not have to be divided politically when we all pull together on local problems.
Wow, I didn’t know this. Thank you for sharing.
Mother Fool’s is such an important part of the Willy Street Neighborhood, and knowing they not only create a great cup of coffee and atmosphere, but are also environmentally conscious, is extremely heartwarming.
Now I know what Mother Fool’s is all about.
Great place!
Have driven by and noticed the unusual name.
Appreciate their mission and focus.
Very commendable.
Good example for green energy commitment.
Just goes to show how important being part of a community is!!
