So cool! Yes, this generation will be driving more electric vehicles. It is good that they get chances to see all the facets about electric vehicles.
This is really exciting! My grandchildren are in high school. Thank you MGE for giving our kids a chance to learn about, support and even get involved with efforts to further develop this technology. These kids know about climate change and they are prepared to join in the fight to save our planet!
This is an awesome experience for kids.
Great to see young people being exposed to different job prospects for the future.
We only have one planet, use it greenly.
It seems that Electric Vehicles are the sign of the Future; at least, that’s what students from Madison Memorial think. It’s, especially, important for businesses which maintain a fleet of vehicles to move to ones running on renewable fuel. Understanding the new electric vehicles is akin to becoming versed in Intelligence Technology; the new electric cars are computers requiring computer skills to understand them. This is natural for the coming young generation!
Great experience to see in person all the aspects of electric vehicles. Thanks to MGE to enthusiastically encourage and educate students about job prospects. We need a lot of workers in this field.
Sounds like a great idea, I liked the line about, “If they weren’t covered in snow, they’d be really impressive.” 🙂
Thanks for bringing us older ones along on the EV tour.
Never knew Madison City and Green Cab were so electric vehicle progressive.
Hope some of these young ones are able to move into being the technicians for these EV users! What an eye opening opportunity you presented to us all. Thanks!
I love watching the current explosion of EV. My brother and his friend once purchased two of the original GM electric cars from the 60’s a GEO and a VAN. it has been remarkable to see the changes in our current LEAF. RIGHT ON MGE for sharing what you know and are learning with all of us about all aspects of energy use.
It’s nice to see young people interested in electric vehicles and renewable energy.
