About Us

Believe in the power of true stories.

Narrative journalism and social distribution
for mission-driven organizations

At StoryBridge, we believe in the power of true stories to engage brains, touch hearts, and move people to action. Using our decades of journalistic experience, we help organizations like yours share compelling missions, engaging characters, and unexpected plot twists with the world.

Then we distribute your stories via custom social sharing networks, strengthening relationships with existing allies and introducing you to eager new audiences.

We’re in Madison, Wisconsin, creating projects for amazing organizations that are seen around the world.  And we can’t wait to tell your story.  Ready to get started?  Give us a shout online — or call (608) 692-2761.

KatyMag_130x150_0 President and chief creative KATY SAI wants to hear your story. As an immigrant from Thailand, Katy learned to speak English by asking questions, and she hasn’t stopped yet. After two decades as an award-winning broadcast news anchor and reporter, she launched StoryBridge in 2007 to put her experience to work for mission-driven organizations. She’s proud to work with a talented team supporting causes from cancer detection to clean energy to homelessness. Katy loves to do yoga, play the piano and ride her bike, but rarely all three at the same time.
Senior videographer/editor PAUL ESCALANTE is a global scholar, with diplomas from Mexico, Argentina, and the University of Minnesota. The Madison native wears many StoryBridge hats, including videographer, editor, producer, graphic designer, and when necessary, foreign language translator. While in Mexico, Paul also trained as a boxer, which comes in handy when dealing with difficult crew members.
Story producer JAKE SOLOMON coordinates all areas of video production. He loves to travel the world, eat good food, and lose himself in a good conversation.
JayCamHill_130x150_0 Cofounder JAY OLSEN is an award-winning videojournalist with 30 years in the biz, honored for his coverage of all kinds of stories — from the National Guard recovery efforts in New Orleans to a visually caffeinated series on homegrown coffee shops.
