Xiaohong Zhang has always been a talented artist but it wasn't until she merged the old with the new... that she found her unique artistic voice.

Several years ago, Xiao began creating elaborate paper cutting pieces to reconnect with her Chinese roots. And then she discovered she could make the artwork even richer by tapping into her knowledge as a Multimedia Arts professor at UW-Whitewater.
