Life Cycle

Many of the riders will tell you the ride is like life. Hundreds of miles over four days make for an intense, emotional experience during the annual Wisconsin AIDS Ride.

The fundraiser goes a long way toward helping people like Bob Bowers, an activist who's been living with AIDS for 24 years. In this story, he talks frankly about his unlikely survival. And we get an insider's look at the ups and downs of an incredibly powerful experience... from people who hope to change the world, by riding a bike!

New & Improved (Just Slightly)

Hey Everyone -- if you're linking to this story or watching it again, you'll notice a few tweaks.

Poor Jay had to pull an all-nighter with the original cut. Yikes! He was leaving town for a week and did a great job but it was a bit of a slam edit. We just went back and made a few changes, added some new photos from Bob Bowers and a little more music from Sean Michael Dargan. Check it out and see if you notice the difference.

The story on the ACT V AIDS Ride was incredible. Bob is pure inspiration and compassion, I see why they ask you back year after year. You do so much for so many and ask for so little. Thanks to all who rode and all who helped raise awareness, you really are heroes. Love you Bob.

AIDS Ride...Katy Chronicles

This is the best story I have ever seen on Aids and the Aids Ride. It has passion and vision. The stories by a variety of individuals really touches the heart. This subject has been forgotten by many and we need more and frequent stories like this. Thanks for such a powerful one.
