Medical Adminstrative Training Course

I'm am/was an adminstrative assistant in Hennepin County, MN for 14 years before we moved to Madison in 2007. Since moving here I haven't been able to find a secure job. Although I think I could do the jobs offered in the hospitals; I think I may need some Medical Adminstrative retraining.

Unemployment sent me information about my possibly being elegible for grants or funds to help pay for classes, can you please tell me how much the classes are and when they are being offered next? My unemployment grant ends Dec 2009.

Hello.
I have been referred to you regarding your career counseling services and would like more information. I am a 54-year-old woman who has been unemployed what seems like forever! I've been going to school online, for the past several years, pursuing my bachelor degree, thinking this would help me gain employment. So far it hasn't and I am only three courses away from graduating, with approx. $100K in student loan debt.

getting involved

Hello,

I am a single parent of three teenage children, who in my standards are doing really well considering the cards dealt. They are excellent children academically, as well as productive in society. My delima at this point is securing myself in society so that ultimately I can TEACH them, in my doing, how to become a stable and prosperous part of this ever so changing and growing nation that we are part of as a whole. With this said, I am very interested in the medical administration program that you are offering, and I would really like to know what it is that I need to do to get involved. I have heard lots of good things about the Urban League, and being referred to you guys through the Salvation Army, homeless shelter, I know this just seems like the perfect opportunity to get in on some life changing skills and opportunities all together. I would be absolutely delighted to hear back from you

Ms. Koretta--strong,articulate, & hard working.There are so many words that can describe her personality but she was by far one of the most dedicated classmates that was in the Medical Adminstration Program through Urban League.Passing with flying colors-weve all came long way. I was in the process of starting the last program, but I was also in the middle of an emergency move. I wasn't able to begin the program and lost contact information to further explain the situation that I was having. Congratulations to all your students !!!! I took the Medical Administration course in 2004. I successfully completed and landed a job instantly at UW Health. Since 2004 I have progressed and moved on to another health care facility in the Medical Records field Thank You URBAN LEAGUE for giving me this great opportunity !!!!
