You may think of a generation as a group connected by age... but the word generation is also defined as:

• A group sharing common beliefs and attitudes
• A stage of technological development
• A beginning or coming into being
• Production of heat or electricity

In that spirit, we call the supporters of MGE's renewable energy program, Generation Green. They were the first to realize that we need to rethink energy for the future. And together, their actions are advancing the next stage of energy production. With their support, MGE was able to establish and grow the Green Power program, offering wind and solar energy to south-central Wisconsin.

As we launch this new renewable energy channel, we honor Generation Green and we'll continue to do so in upcoming programming. Watch this story to see who's part of Generation Green and how they're paving the way for cleaner energy.
