Home Electric Charging Station

Can you help me install a home electric charging station?

Bob's Answer:
Hello James,

MGE does not work on customer electrical systems - you would need to work with a licensed electrician to install a charging station at your home.

However, if you do get a plug-in electric vehicle, you would be eligible to participate in MGE's electric vehicle charging study. As you know, we are installing a network of charging stations in the Madison area and participants will have access to the stations for free charging during the study period. What we learn from this project will help MGE prepare to meet the needs of electric vehicle owners in the future.
